As part of our ongoing ESG commitment, we are proud to be introducing a new charity partnership with Reuse Network, supporting the diversion of contents away from landfill and into further use.
Through this partnership, items that are beyond economic repair (BER), but still usable, will be passed to Reuse Network members, where they can be reused, repurposed, or redistributed to support individuals, families, and communities across the UK.
This initiative will be trialled initially with a small number of our branches, allowing us to carefully assess processes, outcomes, and environmental impact before considering wider rollout across the network.
By prioritising reuse over disposal, we are:
- Reducing waste sent to landfill
- Extending the life of recoverable contents
- Supporting charitable reuse and community organisations
- Strengthening our environmental and social impact as part of our wider ESG programme
