On 7th August 2025, DisasterCare East Midlands welcomed guests to its Alfreton branch for an open day designed to connect, inform, and demonstrate our work in action. The day brought together industry professionals, partners, and local stakeholders for an opportunity to learn more about who we are and how we help.

Held in partnership with our valued insurance customer Allianz, the event opened the doors to our people, our processes, and our purpose. Guests toured the state-of-the-art Alfreton facility, seeing first-hand the high-quality equipment and advanced methods our teams use to deliver reliable disaster recovery.

The day also featured live demonstrations, showcasing how our skilled specialists restore homes and businesses after fire, flood, and other damage. These demonstrations gave visitors a practical sense of the standards and expertise that define our service.

Attendees were also invited to take part in Q&A sessions, asking questions and hearing directly from our team about how we work with insurers, loss adjusters, and property owners. These conversations highlighted not only the technical side of what we do, but also the care and professionalism we bring to every recovery project.
