On Sunday 5th October 2025, DisasterCare were proud to be matchday sponsors for Aldershot Town Women FC in their exciting game against Widbrook United Ladies at The EBB Stadium.

It was a fantastic day that brought together colleagues from across the DisasterCare network, along with valued clients, to celebrate local talent, teamwork, and community spirit.

“We’ve been incredibly privileged, in the women’s team’s maiden season, to have the support of sponsors like DisasterCare Platinum. They share our vision for the growth of women’s football in Aldershot. For DisasterCare to sponsor the match and turn out in such great numbers on a Sunday to cheer on the team was something truly special. We’re excited to continue working with Chris and the team to help Aldershot Town Women FC reach the highest levels.” Louis Fell, General Manager, Aldershot Town FC

For DisasterCare, the sponsorship was about more than matchday recognition. It was a celebration of the same values that drive our work every day — resilience, teamwork, and confidence.

Chris Netherton, CEO of DisasterCare, said:

“Supporting Aldershot Town Women FC reflects exactly what DisasterCare stands for — building resilience, teamwork, and confidence within our communities. It’s about backing people who give their all, on and off the pitch, and celebrating the same spirit of determination that drives our teams every day.”

The match also championed the inspiring This Girl Can message, highlighting the importance of inclusion and empowerment in sport.

We’d like to thank Aldershot Town FC for their warm hospitality and the opportunity to support the women’s team. We’re already looking forward to the next match and to continuing our work in building resilient, confident communities.
